The head is equipped with one fixed and three moving delimbing knives. The spring-loaded blades of the basic model automatically follow the contours of the tree stem during delimbing. With normal stem forms, this is the easiest-to-use solution for the operator, as well. If necessary, the front knives can be equipped with cylinders. The cylinders allow the opening of the front knives during feeding. This property is necessary if the tree stems are crooked or if the amount of hardwood at the site is significant.
